Tire sales, flat repair and alignment
Michelin, BFGoodrich, Bridgestone and more, mounted, balanced and aligned in our own bays on Oakwood Drive, a short drive from Johnston, Grimes and Des Moines.
Chapter 01
Flats, leaks and bent rims
A tire rarely fails all at once. It loses a few pounds over a week, a nail works its way in, a curb catches the sidewall, or a pothole bends the rim just enough to make the steering shake at highway speed. We start by finding out which of those it is, because a repair that fixes the tire and leaves a bent rim only moves the problem down the road.
Flat repairs and slow leaks are the quick jobs, and customers say so. When the damage goes deeper we remount the tire, repair a valve stem or replace the rim. The bent alloy pictured further down this page is the kind of damage we mean.

Rotation, balancing and four-wheel alignment
Wear tells the story if you read it. Tread gone on one shoulder points at alignment, patchy or cupped tread points at balance or a tired suspension part, and a bald front pair beside healthy rears means a rotation was skipped. Rotation, balancing and four-wheel alignment keep all four tires wearing together, so you replace them as a set on your schedule instead of the road's.
Wheel bearings belong in the same conversation. A hum or growl that changes with speed can be a bearing, and with the wheel already off we repack or replace bearings in the same bay. Tread depth counts most when Iowa roads turn wet or snowy, and our blog explains why.
Chapter 03
Brands on the rack, pricing on request
We sell Michelin, BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Uniroyal, Continental and Kumho, and can source most other brands if you have one in mind. Tell us the year, make and model, the brand you want and how many miles you expect the set to last, and we will quote it.
We do not post tire prices, because the right number depends on the size and the brand. Ask for a quote by phone or from the contact page and you get the figure for your vehicle. Drivers in Johnston and Grimes are a short drive from the shop, we stay open until 9 PM on weeknights and 6 PM on Saturdays, and a free vacation car check comes with every service, tires included.
“I’ve brought in multiple cars for tire leaks, and every time the service has been quick and hassle-free.” Kaitlyn Le, Google review.
